School administrators are the chief education advocates for children. They advance the goals of education and champion students’ causes in their buildings, districts, departments, and colleges—locally and nationwide. As school system leaders, administrators set the pace for achievement. They help shape policy, oversee its implementation, and represent their educational community to the public at large.

Administrators who are Kappa Delta Pi members are a special group. Members represent K–12 principals and vice-principals, deans of students, superintendants, department chairs, college level administrators, departments of education, and even aspiring administrators. They are proficient in research, financial and building management, leadership development, curriculum, policy, discipline, intervention, mentoring, advocacy, legislation, and community building. They work in public, private, and parochial schools, at the local, district, state or national level. No matter the position, KDP administrator members represent excellence in education and demonstrate the high ideals of KDP in their daily work.
