After my initiation into Kappa Delta Pi, am I a lifetime member?
Once initiated into Kappa Delta Pi, you are a member for life—but you must pay annual international membership dues to receive publications and member services.

How do I renew my membership next year?

We will send you a membership renewal form a month prior to your renewal date. Your renewal date is one year from the date your name is entered into the Society database at Headquarters. Society and local chapter dues are billed on the same invoice annually and are paid in one payment.

If I let my membership lapse, what happens?

If your annual dues have not been paid, you will no longer receive member benefits and publications. Your membership can be renewed at any time by e-mailing Headquarters or calling 800-284-3167. You also may request a renewal form.

If I move, can I become a Kappa Delta Pi member in my new location?
Just call Headquarters at 800-284-3167 or check the Chapter Directory to locate a new chapter. To change your chapter affiliation, send an e-mail to Headquarters including your name, address, membership number (if known), and the name of your old and new chapters.

I’ve changed my name or address. How do I notify Headquarters?
Please e-mail Headquarters or call 800-284-3167 as soon as possible to change your name or address, or update all your information by using the Address Change Form.

I have misplaced my membership card and don’t know my membership number. How may I obtain my membership number?
Simply e-mail Headquarters or call 800-284-3167 to request a new membership card. Your number also appears above your name on the mailing label of your KDP publications.

When I retire, do I still pay regular membership dues?
An active member who has met the criteria listed below is eligible to pay 50 % of regular membership dues. This change in membership must be requested.
Minimum of 15 years of regular membership
55 years of age or more
Retired from full-time educational work for at least one year
