Kappa Delta Pi awards grants annually to practicing educators around the country in the amount of $150 each to fund innovative and unique programs/projects in the classroom. Teachers must submit a proposal outlining why the funds are needed and how they will be used. Once teachers have received a grant, they must follow up with photos showing student involvement and a recap of the program. It’s amazing to see the innovativeness of educators and the impact these programs can have on student learning.

The deadline for 2008 is December 1, 2008, and awards are announced for next year's grants and distributed by February 15, 2009. Members interested in applying for a grant should complete the application form and mail it to KDP Headquarters or submit the application online with the project description.
