Program: Art in the Park
Chapter: Psi Mu Chapter at Greensboro College, NC
Level: Advanced
Materials:
• Park location
• Tent (may be provided by park)
• Tables (may be provided by park)
• Craft supplies

How To:
1. Contact local Arts Council and ask to set up children’s art tent during Art Fair.
2. Encourage members to volunteer in 2–3 hour intervals.
3. Choose a theme to complement Art Fair. Create craft projects in conjunction with the theme.
4. Create sample displays of the projects.
5. Gather appropriate craft materials.
6. On the day of the event, supervise children and family activities at the booth.

Add a Twist:
• Set out a jar for donations.
• Ask local retailers to donate necessary supplies.
• Offer refreshments.
• Organize a babysitting booth while parents shop.
• Distribute Kappa Delta Pi literature to educate public.
